So your thinking about playing a multiplayer game. GREAT! This file will explain how to setup a game and some strategies that I have discovered when playing NK. NK is the very first nibbles game that has multiplayer(except for the Qbasic version that bites.) If tetris can have multiplayer, than why the hell not nibbles?! Nu'ff said.

PLEASE NOTE: NK Multiplayer is still in an early beta stage, there are probably many bugs to fix and gameplay to balance. I also have a lot of neat features that I have not had enough time to include in this release. Multiplay is going to kick ass!

Basic Rules
----------------
Overview:
Think of each match as a fight to the death. It is survival of the fittest. There is only enough food for 1 player. Everyone wants it, but in the end only the toughest worm win survive.

Game Setup:
Each match takes place in an arena, depending on the settings, this could be a normal sized single player type or a large arena made exclusively for many players. Each match is split up into rounds, very to similar to most street fighting games. The first person to win the required amount of rounds wins the match. The game will proceed to the next match unless the server has set a time or score limit to the game.

Scoring:
There are numerous ways to score in NK. Just like in the single player game, players will earn points for eating a piece of food. However, unlike single play, if a person kills himself it is considered a suicide and he will lose a point. If a player kills another player, he is awarded 1 point for the bounty. For each round a player wins, he is awarded additional points depending on how quickly he makes it to the exit!

----------------
Deathmatch Game
----------------
A deathmatch game is very similar to a single player game. Players race to get to the food first. If a player eats it, he grows bigger, making it easier to kill weaker opponents. If a player dies, he will become small again and respawn back to his original starting position. The first person to eat 10 pieces of food, consecutively, and makes it to the exit wins the round.

----------------
Kombat Game
----------------
Kombat style is similar to most fighting games. The object is to kill everyone off and be the last worm standing. You will grow over time, THERE IS NO FOOD. The longer you stay without getting killed, the bigger you will get. THERE ARE NO RESTRICTIONS ON HOW BIG YOU CAN GROW! You will continue to grow as long as you do not die, keep in mind that the bigger you are, the easier it is to kill yourself!

Kombat style is more geared toward strategy than luck and can bring on some interesting and heart-pounding games.

Server Options
---------------
|Game speed |	The speed of the players, similar to skill levels in single player games.

|Game style |	The type of game to be played, see above...

|Challengers |	The maximum number of players in the game.

|Arena Size |	Large arenas must be set for more than 2 players. Normal arenas have a set boarder and are 640*480. Large arenas allow players to go off the edge of the screen, they are 800*600.

|Lives |	Sets the lives each player starts out with in a round.

|Rounds | Victories required for a player to win the match.

|Level |
|Sequence |	Original- built in levels are used. Custom- Allows you to pick the levels to be played. You must create a file in the NK directory with each level name on a separate line. Each level must be inside the /levels directory. (see mylevels.txt-a sample map file included.)

Network play
---------------
I'm still working on this, hopefully I will have it done shortly.
What to expect:
->Client to server connections
->A chat box of some kind for communication
->An auto-download for levels that someone else may not have
->More than 4 players to a server, there will be a line for players to wait in to enter the arena. This will be similar to a game of 4-square, where the first person in line will move to last spot in the game and try to move up in position.
